-- Brother Thomas: So I'm a slave. I'm a bond slave. When they saw that man with a hole in his ear, they knew what he was. He'd given up his right to ever go out. That's what it is when you come to Christ. That's what's salvation's about. If you don't give up your right to live your life, forget it. Just as well to join the Ku Klux Klan or the Kiwanis Club or something, Lions or something. Join anything. But you join Jesus Christ you got everlasting life. You not only have everlasting life, you have somebody who watches over you. You have somebody that spares you, somebody that keeps you, somebody that ministers faith to you, somebody that provides for you.

Oh, I could tell so many wonderful things God's done for me. He's so good. I went to a place one time to preach the gospel and we didn't have any money. In fact, I had ten dollars and didn't have no car. Had a wife and two children, Sherry and Dan. John Paul wasn't even born at that time and I just went from house to house. That's the way I served God to begin with. The first three churches, I walked. I'd go from house to house and I didn't have no money.

I asked the man that had a house there, I said "Listen, I'll give you ten dollars. That's all I got. I'll do some work on your porch." He needed some boards put in that porch and so he agreed to it. So we moved what little stuff we had there. Didn't have much and she had canned a little bit of stuff. The last church that I got run out of, they didn't like me either. And I preached like this. Boy, I made it hot for some of them.

( laughing ).

Anyway, we eat what she had canned, a little bit of stuff and we killed all our chicken and canned them. Did you ever hear of canned chicken? It's all right. It's good. But one day some ladies of a local church come in there. I wasn't there and they just loaded our table with food all over there and I come in there and saw all that stuff and I said "I'm gonna eat!"

( laughing ).

God's a good God.

( congregational praise ).

I've told these stories so much I hate to tell them but they're always good. I remember that day. I didn't have a lot of money then. I went by the A&P store and I was looking at the meat counter market and I was looking in there and I saw some nice steak in there. I pulled my billfold out and looked at it--opened it up and I had two dollars. I said, "That won't do it." I put the thing back in my pocket and I went on out visiting from house to house, farm to farm. You know He said, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." That's everything. So I went into this house and as I went to leave, they knew me, and said, "Brother Thomas, would you like to have some steak?" I said, "I wouldn't mind it."

( laughing ).

They brought me out two packages of steak about that long. I had steak for two weeks.

( laughing ).

I could only afford hamburger but the Lord can afford steak.

( congregational amens ).

And I'll tell you something. God had to get me out of the system, out of the camp to teach me what I know now. And I'm not ashamed to preach what I know. Praise God! This is what Paul says here now, verse 11, Galatians 1, listen to it carefully. "But I certify you, brethren..." You know that word certify, a notary uses that quit a bit. Ask Marilea. She'll tell you. She writes out something that certifies: this is to certify that so and so did this, thus and so. That's especially important. "But I certify you brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man." Now I wonder how many preachers could say that today? We're in desperate condition. This is apostate world.

( congregational amens ).

This gospel they call a gospel is a degenerate. It's not the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's what's been handed down to them.

( congregational amens ).

When they examine them at the time of ordination, they ask them questions about their movement, not about the word of God. And Paul says, "For I neither received it of man neither was I taught it but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." And that's when God began to open my understanding reveal this word to me, when I got out. And it was continual then until this day. I'm not giving you what I believe, I'm giving you what God says. Hallelujah!

( congregational amens ).

How to be saved? Just realize this one thing, you will never get good enough to be saved. If you got your deserving you'd go to hell. But Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior, the Son of the living God, when He went to that cross He didn't go there just to die because they didn't like Him. They didn't like Him. They don't like truth today. He probably would be crucified today if He came in this world. Like old Brother Tozer said in that article, he said, we need a violent break from all this tradition, this degenerate gospel. And he said, if it comes they'll probably crucify some of us.

I'll guarantee you there's not very many people that would believe what I'm saying. But somebody will believe it, that some little remnant. It's like Jesus said, "Fear not little flock. It's you Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." It's a little flock but they're going to "inherit the kingdom prepared for them from the very foundation of the world."

( congregational praise ).

God had you in mind at the beginning of all this. Hallelujah! He knew everyone of you. Hallelujah. He knows me and the judge of all the earth is gonna do right. Hallelujah! Don't think that God would ever turn you down. If you're concerned, if God's drawing you, you just say yes to Him. Say, Lord ... like the song we used to sing, "In my hand no price I bring, simply to Thy cross I cling." Hallelujah! When He cried on that cross, "It is finished," your salvation was paid for. That satisfied the law condemned you. That's all the law can do is condemn you but grace saves you.

Grace not only saves you but it keeps you. Grace presents you. One day before all Heaven I'm looking forward not only to going but I'm looking forward to meeting some people. I want to. I've heard of them, read about them, studied about them, some I've known here in the flesh. But I mean characters in the Bible--Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Joseph--great Christians. Praise God I'm looking forward to meeting them. That'll be a wonderful time!

( congregational amens ).

Hallelujah! Are you looking forward to meeting somebody? Well, this is the way. This is the way. You men or somebody come up here and let's sing. I'm going to give an invitation this morning. Be prayerful here while we wait. Maybe I shouldn't have sprung this on you but I just felt like I needed to. How to be saved--that's what we're talking about. All you do is say yes to Him. He takes you now, He takes you for tomorrow, He takes for the rest of your life and for eternity. He saves you for eternity.

If there's a person in here--one soul here today-- that's not sure of your salvation--not sure, have any doubt, I ask you to unreservedly give yourself to Christ. I beseech you in Christ's stead. Come to Him and signify that by getting up out of your seat and coming forward. Let's stand. Just be prayerful here. I'm not going to keep you long.

MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS
THAN JESUS BLOOD AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.
I DARE NOT TRUST THE SWEETEST FRAME
BUT WHOLLY LEAN ON JESUS' NAME.
ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.

-- Brother Thomas: Are you on the solid rock? All other ground is sinking sand. You have no future. Is the Lord calling you today? The least you can do is answer the call. While we sing, whoever you are, I'm asking you before all these people to take Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Go ahead.

WHEN DARKNESS VEILS HIS LOVELY FACE
I REST ON HIS UNCHANGING GRACE.
IN EVERY HIGH AND STORMY GALE
MY ANCHOR HOLDS WITHIN THE VEIL.
ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.

HIS OATH, HIS COVENANT, HIS BLOOD
SUPPORT ME IN THE WHELMING FLOOD.
WHEN ALL AROUND MY SOUL GIVES WAY
HE THEN IS MY HOPE AND STAY.
ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.

-- Brother Thomas: One more verse, I not gonna drag this out. One more verse. If you don't want to come you'll go away from here just like you came. You'll go away lost. I want you to come without any gimmicks, any tricks, just because you want this Savior. Because you've got to have Him. You can't make it without Him and a future here is hopeless. This is the last verse.

WHEN HE SHALL COME WITH TRUMPET SOUND,
OH MAY I THEN IN HIM BE FOUND.
DRESSED IN HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE,
FAULTLESS TO STAND BEFORE THE THRONE.
ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.

-- Brother Thomas: Keep singing. The Lord's keeping it open. He's keeping it open for somebody. Hallelujah! I'm not keeping it open, the Lord is. You can't come except He draw you. If He's drawing you, the least you can do is respond. Go ahead.

MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS
THAN JESUS BLOOD AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.
I DARE NOT TRUST THE SWEETEST FRAME
BUT WHOLLY LEAN ON JESUS' NAME.
ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.

WHEN HE SHALL COME WITH TRUMPET SOUND,
OH MAY I THEN IN HIM BE FOUND.
DRESSED IN HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE,
FAULTLESS TO STAND BEFORE THE THRONE.
ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND.
ALL OTHER GROUNG IS SINKING SAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.

ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.

( congregational praise ). -- Brother Thomas: That's God moving on hearts. When God moves on your heart He wants to do something for you that needs to be done. God don't make any mistakes. While we sing, somebody else now. God's keeping this open.

JESUS CHRIST IS MADE TO ME,
ALL I NEED, ALL I NEED.
HE ALONE IS ALL MY PLEA.

WISDOM, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND POWER,
HOLINESS FOR EVERMORE.
MY REDEMPTION FULL AND SURE.
HE IS ALL I NEED.

JESUS IS MY ALL IN ALL.
ALL I NEED. ALL I NEED.
WHILE HE KEEPS I CAN NOT FALL.
HE IS ALL I NEED.

WISDOM, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND POWER,
HOLINESS FOR EVERMORE.
MY REDEMPTION FULL AND SURE.
HE IS ALL I NEED.

TO MY SAVIOR WILL I CLEAVE.

HE WILL NOT HIS SERVANT LEAVE.
HE IS ALL I NEED.

WISDOM, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND POWER,
HOLINESS FOR EVERMORE.
MY REDEMPTION FULL AND SURE.
HE IS ALL I NEED.

-- Brother Thomas: One more. That's all. Listen, I want you to pray. Join me in prayer, let's join our spirits together. This brother here, this black brother has a lot of problems. The worst one is that he's harassed by Satan. He's harassing you. A lot of it's not so. It's lies but I expose him for what he is today. I command him in the name of Jesus Christ, loose your hold. Lord, I thank you for deliverance. You thank Him for deliverance.

( congregational worship ). Thank Him for deliverance. Praise God! Don't wait until you feel it. Thank Him ahead of time. Hallelujah. God bless you brother. God's gonna loose, don't you worry. You're gonna be alright. God bless you.

( congregational worship ).

Half the battle of being delivered for devils is recognizing it's devils. I was preaching up in South Dakota years ago and I had, well the place was just jammed packed, and I preached on, "Do you have devils?" People began to get free. I said I can't pray for everyone of you individually but I want you to lay your hand on your brother or your sister. Just lay it on their shoulder and you come against the devil yourself and let's tell them to go.

They did that and people began to get free all over the place. One sister back in this direction, from me, I was at the pulpit, she run up choking. I said, "Sister, you have the power yourself. Command him to go and she kept commanding him, kept stomping her foot. I said, "You misunderstood me. When you command him to go then thank God he's gone."

( congregational praise ).

Praise God for it. Don't you doubt it. She did that and she was free. That spirit out of her went right straight back to her sister and she run up choking. I repeated the same thing over again. Praise God. We have power over all power of the enemy. God bless you brother. God bless you. God bless you. Sing one more verse and that's all. Hallelujah!

HE REDEMED ME WHEN HE DIED.
ALL I NEED. ALL I NEED.
I WITH HIM WAS CRUCIFIED.
HE IS ALL I NEED.
WISDOM, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND POWER
HOLINESS FOR EVERMORE,
MY REDEMPTION FULL AND SURE.
HE IS ALL I NEED.

GLORY, GLORY TO THE LAMB.
ALL I NEED. ALL I NEED.
BY HIS SPIRIT SEALED I AM.
HE IS ALL I NEED.
WISDOM, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND POWER
HOLINESS FOR EVERMORE,
MY REDEMPTION FULL AND SURE.
HE IS ALL I NEED.

( congregational praise ).

-- Brother Thomas: Ricky, I don't know what your problem is but God wants a closer walk with you.

-- Ricky: That's what my grandma told me the other day.

-- Brother Thomas: God's not satisfied when we're careless and indifferent. He wants a closer walk with all of us. We need to get His word in us and learn how to praise Him because He dwells in the midst of the praises of Israel. Learn how to praise Him. He's worthy.

( congregational praise ).

Hallelujah! That's all. God bless you. Two of these are my granddaughters by my two sons. This is Amanda.
