-- Brother Thomas: You know a seal is used, not only in the Bible but in other places in life, as a completed transaction. You know, you work in some place where they make machinery or something, and when they get through with it and it passes the last person that contributes to its manufacture, they put a stamp of approval there on it, and then it is ready to go--go out on the assembly line.

And when God saves a person--I'm talking about when ever Jesus comes into your heart--when He comes into your heart, He seals you. That's why the scripture says, "And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God whereby ye are sealed..." How long? "...The day of redemption." That's how long. That's how long it'll last. That seals is permanent.

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." Now that's in Galatians. That's Galatians chapter 3 verse 26, 27, 28 and 29. And here's your status now when you put on Christ. That means you're accounted--you're absolutely placed in the same position that Christ is. God saves you by His grace and you've become a Christian.

And he says and then, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." Did you know that our position here in this world, even male and female, that's part of the curse. We'll be delivered from that. We'll all be men.

( laughing ).

I'm kidding. I just couldn't help that.

( laughing ).

You won't be either. You'll just be God's children. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Do you ever feel like you need deliverance from your earthly status? You ever feel like you need that? You ever feel like that scripture would apply to you? Well it does. It applies to all of us at times.

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Now it seems that the Lord there is saying the reason we don't know any more about Him is because we never took His yoke. It's as you take His yoke and walk with Him that you learn His ways-you learn about Him.

"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." That's another thing you learn--you learn the nature of Jesus. You learn that He's not a terrible taskmaster. You who love Him, you who've given yourself to Him, you discover that He is a gracious, a wonderful, a brother in the Lord.

( congregational amens ).

Think about it. He's our elder brother, and He's longing for that day when He can come and get us, and He will one of these days without any forewarning--"...such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." And when He does, there'll be a gathering of all ages that's God's children and we'll all be gathered to that one place. There won't be three or four different heavens. We'll be gathered.

But there won't be a thing that we have done in a positive way that He'll miss out on. He'll know about them--every thing that you do. The only thing I'll be sorry of is I didn't do more. I didn't sacrifice more--I didn't. But God knows. He knows the least that you've done, even a cold cup of water you may have given in His name. I don't have much here to say. I don't know why, but this is a good ending-come down to the conclusion of this meeting. It's been wonderful to be here.

( congregational amens ).

It's been wonderful to see you, fellowship with you.

( congregational amens ).

It's been wonderful. Alright, I'm gonna give an invitation tonight. Didn't know that I would, but I want you if you're here tonight and you have never turned your heart over to the Lord, I'm asking you to do this. I'm asking you if you have never. Don't do it if you've already done it. But I'm asking you to come forward up here. Now the atmosphere is not conducive to an invitation at this time, but we just have to trust the Lord to move-trust the Lord to move on hearts.

And if you have never done that and you're here tonight, do you want to leave here lost? Or are you gonna leave here with the peace of God in your heart-the peace that passeth all understanding. You have the opportunity. Let's stand. Come on up here men. I don't know how many young people have come to the Lord during these services over the years, but many of them have--many of them have. And tonight, you can join the rank--you can join the rank. You may have a mother or father that's a genuine Christian. You ought to want to join that rank. May have a Godly grandfather. Whoever you are tonight, do you feel the tug at your heart? I'm asking you to come forward and let's all have prayer together while you sing. Go ahead men.

MY SOUL IN SAD EXILE WAS OUT ON LIFE'S SEA,
SO BURDENED WITH SIN AND DISTRESSED.
'TILL I HEARD A SWEET VOICE SAYING, "MAKE ME YOUR CHOICE."
AND I ENTERED THE HAVEN OF REST.

I'VE ANCHORED MY SOUL IN THE HAVEN OF REST.
I'LL SAIL THE WIDE SEAS NO MORE.
THE TEMPEST MAY SWEEP O'ER THE WILD STORMY DEEP.
IN JESUS I'M SAFE EVER MORE.

-- Brother Thomas: That song--I'm surprised that they chose that song. But my Daddy died suddenly back there several years ago, and the next morning I was going to another church, not the one that I was pastoring, but I was going to this church to preach. I already had the appointment set up. And I never will forget, he was laying a corpse and I drove down the highway just by myself. And I sung that song, "I've anchored my soul in the haven of rest." The Lord ministered to me through that song. Though I was grieving inside, but that helped me--that helped me. And the Lord can help you.

( congregational amens ).

That's what that scripture means. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Continue on now men.

I YIELDED MYSELF TO HIS TENDER EMBRACE,
AND FAITH TAKING HOLD OF THE WORD.
MY FETTERS FELL OFF AND I ANCHORED MY SOUL.
THE HAVEN OF REST IS MY LORD.

I'VE ANCHORED MY SOUL IN THE HAVEN OF REST.
I'LL SAIL THE WIDE SEAS NO MORE.
THE TEMPEST MAY SWEEP O'ER THE WILD STORMY DEEP.
IN JESUS I'M SAFE EVER MORE.

THE SONG OF SOUL SINCE THE LORD MADE ME WHOLE,
HAS BEEN THE OLD STORY SO BLESSED,
OF JESUS WHO'LL SAVE WHOSOEVER WILL HAVE
A HOME IN THE HAVEN OF REST.

I'VE ANCHORED MY SOUL IN THE HAVEN OF REST.
I'LL SAIL THE WIDE SEAS NO MORE.
THE TEMPEST MAY SWEEP O'ER THE WILD STORMY DEEP.
IN JESUS I'M SAFE EVER MORE.

-- Brother Thomas: There's somebody here tonight that'll never have another opportunity. That happens very often in meetings like this. They's somebody here listening to this invitation that may never have another opportunity. You want to go out like you are? Do you want to go out like you are? Or do you want to get saved? Do you want to go out with the peace of God in your heart? Let's sing two more verses. If nobody comes, that's it. I don't want to just, you know, take advantage of it. Go ahead.

ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER.
ALL TO HIM I FREELY GIVE.
I WILL EVER LOVE AND TRUST HIM,
IN HIS PRESENCE DAILY LIVE.

I SURRENDER ALL.
I SURRENDER ALL.
ALL TO THEE MY BLESSED SAVIOR,

-- Brother Thomas: Young lady, you've come up here and the Lord is really tugging at your heart. I think you did the right thing.

( congregational praise ).

And don't you doubt Him. He's called you. He's called you home-that's to Him. And you begin to thank Him now for salvation. While we sing another. Who else wants to get in on this?

( congregational praise ).

MAKE ME SAVIOR WHOLLY THINE.
LET ME FEEL THE HOLY SPIRIT,
TRULY KNOW THAT THOU ART MINE.

I SURRENDER ALL.
I SURRENDER ALL.
ALL TO THEE MY BLESSED SAVIOR,
I SURRENDER ALL.

ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER.
LORD I GIVE MYSELF TO THEE.
FILL ME WITH THY LOVE AND POWER.
LET THY BLESSING FALL ON ME.

ALL TO THEE MY BLESSED SAVIOR,

-- Brother Thomas: The Holy Spirit is working with people. Keep singing.

( congregational praise ).

I tell you, you'll never be sorry. The Lord is working with hearts, but sing on folks. God bless you. Yes that's right. God bless you. Praise the Lord!

( congregational praise ).

Yes. Yes. Amen. Praise God. Amen.

ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER.
ALL TO HIM I FREELY GIVE.
I WILL EVER LOVE AND TRUST HIM,
IN HIS PRESENCE DAILY LIVE.

I SURRENDER ALL.
I SURRENDER ALL.
ALL TO THEE MY BLESSED SAVIOR,

-- Brother Thomas: Praise God. Praise God.

ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER.
HUMBLY AT HIS FEET I BOW.
WORDLY PLEASURES ALL FORSAKEN,
TAKE ME JESUS. TAKE ME NOW.

I SURRENDER ALL.
